Printers Row Venue

Printers Row Park is a picturesque place to enjoy a Saturday with friends & family (pets too) and explore Chicago's history!
Printers Row Park is a small passive Chicago Park District neighborhood gem. This small green space is nestled in the heart of the old Printer's Row area which offers seating, a community garden and an ornament al fountain sculpture. Printer's Row, also known as Printing House Row, is a neighborhood located south of Chicago's Loop. The heart of Printer's Row is generally defined by Ida B. Wells Drive on the north, Polk Street on the south, Plymouth Court on the east, and the Chicago River on the west. This neighborhood overlaps significantly with the officially designated landmark Printing House Row Distirct. The neighborhood includes the architecturally significant Dearborn Station, which is also on the National Register of Historic Places. Many of the buildings in this area were used by printing and publishing businesses. Today, the buildings have mainly been converted into residential lofts with the exception of one commercial printer, Palmer Printing, Inc., near the corner of Clark and Polk streets.
